A revision test is a re-attempt of a chapter you have already studied. Open it cold, without rereading the notes, and see what actually stayed. Anything that does not come back gets bookmarked and sits in front of you until it does.

How to run a revision test
Three passes, no re-reading, one place where the misses live.
Study the chapter
Read the notes, then attempt its Expected MCQ set once, untimed. This is the only pass where you are allowed to look things up.
Revision test
Re-attempt the same set cold. What you cannot answer is what you never learned — not what you forgot.
Revision test again
One more cold pass. After this, the chapter should cost you almost nothing to recall.
Bookmark the misses
A question wrong twice is a fact on its way out. Keep it on the bookmarks page until it comes back with no effort.
One mixed test
Mix several chapters in a single sitting so you practise switching context, which is what an exam paper actually asks of you.
Do not reread first
Rereading before a test feels productive and tests nothing. Attempt cold, then read only what you failed.

How is a revision test different from an Expected MCQ set?
The same questions, asked at a different moment. An Expected MCQ set is your first attempt at a chapter; a revision test is the re-attempt days later, when the point should come back without rereading anything.
When should I schedule a revision test?
Three days after the first attempt, then again a week later. Two cold passes at one set catch far more than reading the chapter twice.
Should I reread the notes before a revision test?
No. Attempt it cold. Rereading first turns the test into a reading exercise and hides exactly the gaps you are trying to find.
What do I do with questions I still get wrong?
Bookmark them. A question wrong twice is a fact you are about to lose, so keep it in front of you until it returns without effort.
